M.K. Static is the creator behind Krimson City Studios, an independent multimedia studio built around the simple idea that a project does not have to fit neatly into one medium.
That philosophy eventually became Nyxira: The Undying City, an expanding collection of stories and interconnected characters centered around the strange city of Nyxira, and Ghoul on Fire, a fictional band that escaped the page and became a very real music project.
His work tends to live where things overlap: horror and humor, monsters and humanity, distorted guitars and broken electronics, old mythology and new technology.
The tools change constantly.
Writing. Music production. Digital art. 3D printing. Code. AI. Whatever gets the idea out of his head and into the world.
That habit started long before generative AI entered the picture. Years before M.K. Static had a name, he was writing and performing music, building things with code, and working in digital and multimedia design. Technology has always been tangled up in the creative process, not as a replacement for making things, but as another way to make them.
AI simply became the newest tool on an already crowded workbench.
Today it is openly used throughout M.K. Static projects for experimentation, iteration, production, and occasionally discovering that an innocent idea has somehow turned into an entire fictional city with its own bands, bars, monsters, history, and increasingly questionable nightlife.
There is not much of a master plan.
Make things that are interesting.
Follow the weird ideas.
Finish enough of them to put them somewhere.
Then see what catches fire.
